I've done skiing. Looks great; Doesn't feel much like skiing; Anyway, my mom is a 3rd degree computer phobic. Not gonna happen.Noodlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07829600344187451258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724749504995792010.post-75485170160138849572012-10-27T00:54:50.191+02:002012-10-27T00:54:50.191+02:00SL sailing sounds good! Maybe your mother could expand her horizons beyond "Grease"!George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724749504995792010.post-7942912815358637302012-10-26T23:56:27.250+02:002012-10-26T23:56:27.250+02:00Thanx George; U just gave me that warm and fuzzy f...Thanx George; U just gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling. There is so much fun in virtual sailing. This blog here is just me trying to get that across. I'll think about a beginners guide, - perhaps not to SL as such but to virtual sailing in SL. Then you're on for a virtual sailing date.<br />Noodlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07829600344187451258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724749504995792010.post-84683280250407062152012-10-26T17:41:06.158+02:002012-10-26T17:41:06.158+02:00Noodle, I'd love to take the helm of the Nauti...Noodle, I'd love to take the helm of the Nautilus but I'm totally clueless about SL (and I'm tempted to think that 90% of the peeps following your blog are also clueless). Perhaps you could post a guide--an SL for dummies, at some point.George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724749504995792010.post-15608195552406363322012-10-26T14:53:51.660+02:002012-10-26T14:53:51.660+02:00YVW. Hehe; Get in here, and you can sail the boat of your lifelong wet dreams. Sticky kicks? My mum has Grease on tape. I grew up on it.Noodlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07829600344187451258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-724749504995792010.post-30082882963015795832012-10-26T14:19:07.756+02:002012-10-26T14:19:07.756+02:00Thanks for the grand tour Noodle! The Disney movie was very au courrant for my generation and we all spent waaaay too much time drawing crude images of the Nautilus in our school workbooks instead of paying attention to the teacher! Nemo was our entry into the world of flawed anti-heros. Kinda like James Dean but with a cool boat rather than a Porsche. I'm simple minded enough that I'd probably still get a kick out of viewing the movie again as a geezer--some things stick with you for life.George Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15375041586503979232noreply@blogger.com
